Simon N Goodwin has been creating games and audio tech professionally since the 1970s. In twelve years as Principal Audio Programmer with Codemasters he was responsible for the audio systems in multi-million selling simulations like F1, Colin McRae Rally and RaceDriver Grid, scoring six European number ones and two BAFTA awards.
Since helping to found the Audio For Games international conference series in 2009 Simon has written a book for Focal Press, Beep to Boom, tracing the history and implementation of interactive audio from binary clicks to Higher Order Ambisonics.
