ADCx Copenhagen 26

ADCx Copenhagen 2026

We’re thrilled to share that ADCx Copenhagen 2026 will take place at Aalborg University campus in Copenhagen on April 28, 2026.

ADCx is a community-driven event - created by engineers and researchers across the Danish audio and software space, in collaboration with the international Audio Developer Conference network. The aim is simple: a focused, technical meeting point for everyone working with digital audio technology across applications - from music technology to acoustics, speech and hearing.

The program will center on all aspects of software for audio:

  • signal processing and algorithms
  • machine learning and AI for audio
  • human–computer interaction
  • embedded systems and firmware
  • audio application and plugin development
  • frameworks, tools, and methodologies

Expect contributions from industry engineers, researchers, independent developers, students, and experts from the wider audio development, ADC and Danish Sound Cluster communities.

More details, including the Call for Talks and ticket launch, will follow soon. If you want updates, please follow ADC and sign up for the newsletter.

Call for speakers is now open!

We're inviting the audio developer community to help shape ADCx Copenhagen. If you have work, ideas, or experience worth sharing, whether you're a student or a seasoned engineer, we'd like to see your proposal.

What we're looking for

ADCx talks span research, engineering practice, emerging technologies, tools, programming languages, methodologies, standards, creative aspects of work, and career paths. We aim for a balance of deep technical content and accessible talks for newer developers. Experimental projects are welcome.

Possible topics

  • DSP, audio processing, synthesis, analysis
  • Medical audio, hearables
  • Acoustics, measurement, vibration
  • Music tech, DAWs, plug-ins
  • Game audio
  • Machine Learning and AI for audio
  • 3D/VR/AR audio
  • Audio software and hardware architecture and design
  • Languages for audio (C, C++, Rust, Python, Matlab, JavaScript/WebAssembly, ...)
  • Development tools and processes
  • Performance and real-time work
  • Embedded systems and firmware
  • Best practices, testing, QA
  • Career development in audio

Talks are 18 minutes without time for Q&A. There will be plenty of time to dive deeper during the breaks and networking sessions, or to keep in touch on any topics on our Discord server.

We want a broad mix of voices, especially those not often heard. If you have questions or need support, write us at [email protected]

We expect speakers to present live in Copenhagen, but we may add a few streamed slots if needed.

We do not program talks focused on commercial products. For a sponsored session, please contact us directly.

Important Dates:

  • April 05, 2026: Early bird ticket sales end
  • April 20, 2026: Last day to apply for Diversity Grant
  • April 21, 2026: Slide submissions
